What version of Lightroom do your presets work with?
The presets I sell via my online shop will work with Adobe Lightroom v4, v5 and v6 and Creative Cloud
The presets have been designed in Adobe Creative Cloud which uses the same process version as Lightroom version 6 version 5. You can use the presets with Adobe Lightroom v4 but you may get slightly different results.
Do your Lightroom presets work with JPEG or RAW file formats?
The presets will work both with JPEG and RAW photos.
Your results will be better when using a RAW file format because the presets have more information to work with. The RAW format is more forgiving when you’re working with highlights, Shadows and exposure.
Once I’ve paid for my presets how are they delivered?
Once payment has been confirmed. You will receive an email with a download link to your purchase. Click on the link and choose a folder to download your files to.
I recommend at this point you should also make a backup of your new presets for safekeeping.
How do I install my Lightroom Presets?
Note: Adobe Photoshop Lightroom needs to be closed.
1. After your purchase you will receive an email with a download link to your presets.
Extract the contents of the zip file, which will contain instructions and a folder of presets.
2.Locate your develop presets folder
● Windows – using Windows explorer go to (user)/Application Data/Adobe/Lightroom/Develop Presets
● Mac – using finder go to (user)/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Lightroom/Develop Presets
3. Copy the folder of presets into your lightroom Develop Presets folder.
4. Open Adobe Photoshop Lightroom and your new presets will be ready for you in the develop module.
I purchased a new computer how do I transfer my presets to new computer?
Your default presets folder is located at the following locations.
● Windows – using Windows explorer go to (user)/Application Data/Adobe/Lightroom/Develop Presets
● Mac – using finder go to (user)/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Lightroom/Develop Presets
Copy and paste the develop presets folder to the same location on the new computer.
Will you presets work with Adobe Lightroom 1, 2, 3?
Lightroom changed it’s processing engine from version 4 upwards so unfortunately. Versions 1, 2 and 3 I will not be able to use these Presets that are sold in my store.
It might also be a perfect opportunity to upgrade to a standalone copy of Lightroom or even Creative Cloud photographers version.
Are your Presets one click presets or are they stack-able?
It’s definitely possible to use the presets in my store as one click presets. The presets have been designed to be stack-able. What this means is that you can combine presets to create various looks.
NOTE: All Lightroom presets are affected by the exposure, highlights and shadows of a photo. This means sometimes minor adjustments are required to get the perfect look.
What if I change my mind can I get a refund?
Lightroom Presets are a digital product and because of this I can not offer a refund.
